I have bought my 1953 Vedette 2 months ago. I imported it from Nice. It was shipped on an autotransport firm. It has a history of being a tow truck, therefore backseats, backlid and window was missing (due to a crane of some sort was mounted). I have bought rear seat, window and lid in Norway.

I still need rear fender!

The car is worn by the sun, but no deep corrosion. Brakes are good, but one of the 100ths of things I have done, and have to do, is adjusting (adjusters have seized - will see if this gets a problem). Engine is sound, and car is being prepared for registration here in cold Denmark.

Notice the "Carte Gris: I have done some googling on the previous owner, who seems to have been racing in the sixties (anyone know about Max Antiochia?)

I like the Vedettes shape and sturdy feel, and the V8 of course!! (think the Vedette is a much better looking car than the American V8´s.
